UAE Hotel Revenues Reach USD 12.08 Billion in 11 Months of 2025

Hotel revenues in the United Arab Emirates reached approximately USD 12.08 billion in the 11 months to November 2025, according to Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri. Revenues totalled around AED 44.4 billion, marking an 8.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024, driven primarily by growth in the average daily room rate.
Hotels across the country welcomed an estimated 29.1 million guests during the period, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. Guest nights surpassed 99.4 million, up 6% compared to January to November 2024, reflecting continued demand across the hospitality sector.
Al Marri shared the figures while participating in FITUR Madrid 2026, held from January 21st to 25th at IFEMA in Spain. During the exhibition, he discussed opportunities to strengthen tourism partnerships with regional and global markets, noting that tourism remains a key area of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Spain. He also highlighted the role of international exhibitions in exchanging best practices related to tourism sustainability and long-term sector development.
Reviewing sector milestones in 2025, Al Marri pointed to the election of Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais as Secretary-General of UN Tourism for the 2026–2029 term, the selection of Masfout as Best Tourism Village in the World for 2025, and Al Ain’s designation as Capital of Arab Tourism for 2026, following its recognition as Gulf Tourism Capital for 2025.
