UAE Eid Al Fitr & Eid Al Adha Dates Projected for 2026
Dates are based on astronomical forecasts and the Hijri calendar, with three days for Eid Al Fitr and four days for Eid Al Adha before the weekend.
The United Arab Emirates is expected to mark Eid Al Fitr from March 20th to 22nd, 2026, and Eid Al Adha from May 26th to 29th, 2026, based on current astronomical predictions.
If these dates are confirmed by moon sighting, Eid Al Fitr would run Friday March 20th to Sunday March 22nd, while the Eid Al Adha break would begin on Tuesday May 26th with Arafat Day and continue through Friday May 29th, followed by the weekend, creating six consecutive days off.
While the United Arab Emirates public holiday framework allows some official days off to shift to the start or end of a week, that provision does not apply to Eid Al Fitr or Eid Al Adha. As with every year, final dates are subject to official confirmation close to the time following the lunar observation.
