Three Stations Opens on Riyadh Metro’s Orange Line

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has inaugurated three additional stations on the Orange Line of the Riyadh Metro: Al Malaz, Al Rajhi Grand Mosque, and Khashm Al Aan. This expansion aims to improve accessibility and reduce traffic congestion in key areas of the city.

The Orange Line, also known as Line 3, spans approximately 41 kilometres, running east-west from Jeddah Road to the Second Eastern Ring Road near Khashm Al Aan.

Al Malaz Station provides access to a district known for its governmental institutions and recreational facilities. Al Rajhi Grand Mosque Station facilitates easier commutes for worshippers attending one of Riyadh's largest mosques. Khashm Al Aan Station extends service to the eastern outskirts, accommodating growing residential communities.

The Riyadh Metro network comprises six lines covering a total of 176 kilometres and includes 85 stations. Metro services operate daily from 6:00 AM to 12:00 midnight. Passengers can plan their journeys and purchase tickets via the ‘Darb’ mobile application, station ticket offices, or self-service machines, with payment options including bank cards and smart devices.
