Students to Create Egyptian Flags to Celebrate 6th of October Victory
Students will craft Egyptian flags using threads wool and beads across primary preparatory and secondary stages.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has launched the Flying Flag initiative across schools nationwide to mark the anniversary of the 6th of October Victory. The initiative seeks to foster a sense of belonging among students and promote creative participation in school activities. According to a circular from the Central Administration for General Education, students from primary, preparatory, and secondary levels will design Egyptian flags using materials such as threads, wool, and beads. Implementation will be overseen by the general supervisor for Home Economics, with senior supervisors relaying instructions to schools and Home Economics teachers supervising student work on campus. A short video highlighting student participation will be compiled at the governorate level and sent to the advisor’s office during October. The ministry confirmed that participation is open to all students and emphasised adherence to the set timeframe while showcasing student talents as part of the commemorations.
