Seha Virtual Hospital Logs Over 16 Million Remote Consultations in 202
Saudi Arabia’s national virtual care platform delivered more than 16 million medical appointments and consultations last year.
Seha Virtual Hospital recorded more than 16 million virtual appointments and medical consultations during 2025, underscoring the growing role of remote healthcare services across Saudi Arabia.
The figure reflects clinical interactions delivered through the national platform over the course of the year, including scheduled virtual appointments and clinician-led medical consultations. Through the service, patients are able to connect with medical teams for advice, follow-up care and clinical evaluations without the need for in-person visits, using secure digital channels to coordinate appointments and consultations.
Operated by the Ministry of Health, Seha Virtual Hospital functions as a central hub for virtual care, linking patients to specialists and multidisciplinary medical teams across different regions of the Kingdom. The platform also supports hospitals and health centres by enabling remote case reviews, second opinions and care pathways, helping extend specialist access beyond physical facilities.
Clinicians working through the system review cases, provide medical guidance and manage follow-up using platforms integrated with the Ministry of Health’s wider healthcare network. This structure is designed to ensure consistent access to virtual clinical services across cities and governorates, regardless of location.
