Saudi Passports Directorate Offers Hotline for Expired Visas
Saudi authorities urged expired visa holders to act before April 18th, with hotline support available.
Holders of expired visas in Saudi Arabia have been urged to seek assistance and complete procedures ahead of an April 18th deadline, as support measures remain in place following recent regional disruptions.
The General Directorate of Passports said individuals can access assistance through its designated hotline 992, which is available for cases covered under the current directives.
The measures, issued under the Ministry of Interior, apply to visit, Umrah, transit and final exit visas that expired on or after February 25th, 2026.
Affected individuals are offered two options during the specified period. They may request a visa extension through the Absher platform via their host, with the process open until April 18th upon payment of the required fees. Alternatively, they can depart the Kingdom directly through international ports without extending their visas or incurring fines.
Authorities have urged those eligible to complete their procedures and leave the country before the deadline to avoid penalties.
