Riyadh Bus Network Surpasses 100 Million Passengers
The system operates 842 buses and more than 2,950 stops, with services integrated across Riyadh’s public transport network.
Riyadh’s bus network has carried more than 100 million passengers. The network operates across 91 routes that span more than 1,900 kilometres, covering most neighbourhoods and key areas of the capital. Services are designed to provide citywide access for residents and visitors.
The network is supported by a fleet of 842 buses. Operations are integrated with other public transport systems to enable connected journeys across the city. Routes and frequencies have been structured to link residential districts with commercial, administrative and service hubs.
There are more than 2,950 bus stops across the network. Stops are distributed to provide consistent access along corridors and within districts, with the aim of facilitating boarding and transfers across the 91 routes.
