Ramadan 2026 at Global Village Brings Extended Hours & New Social Hub
Global Village confirms Ramadan 2026 operating hours, live shows, dining options and a new communal gathering space.
Global Village, now celebrating its 30th season, is rolling out special evening operating hours for Ramadan 2026, with tailored weekday and weekend schedules throughout the Holy Month. For the occasion, the destination will transform with traditional Ramadan-themed décor, glowing lanterns and crescents, warm ambient lighting, and photo-ready installations that bring the spirit of the season to life. Making its Ramadan debut this year is Multaqa, a new free-to-access gathering space designed for slowing down and socialising. Inspired by traditional majlis settings, the tent-style seating area features festoon lighting and plush seating, setting the scene for relaxed conversations during iftar, suhoor, and late-night visits. Located in front of the Main Stage, Multaqa encourages guests to grab food from Global Village’s kiosks, rent traditional games on-site, and settle in—turning the area into a lively social hub within the park. Live entertainment will take centre stage throughout the month with a curated Ramadan-themed programme. Expect performances featuring orchestra, oud, nay, harp, violin, and the mesmerising Tannoura show. Akher Kalam, hosted by Maitha Mohammed, will run from February 18th to March 18th on the Main Stage, while Al Mandoos Live Game Show, hosted by Abdulla Esmaeel, will unfold across three consecutive weekends starting on Friday, February 20th. A drone show is also set to light up the sky on Friday, February 20th. Food and shopping continue to anchor the Ramadan experience at Global Village. Visitors can choose from 250 dining options across Restaurant Plaza, kiosks, streets, pavilion stalls, and cafés—ideal for iftar feasts, suhoor bites, or late-night cravings. Shopping spans 30 cultural pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, offering everything from themed décor and clothing to gifts, household items, traditional sweets, and Ramadan food essentials for Eid preparations. The Ramadan Step Challenge also makes its return via the Global Village mobile app, inviting guests to track their steps as they explore the park. Those who hit 10,000 steps in a single visit can unlock rewards—adding a fun, active twist to the Ramadan stroll.
