New Online Platform Launched in Gaza to Manage Camps & Shelters
An online platform in Gaza lets residents register or update camps and shelters electronically, giving aid groups real-time data to coordinate relief faster and improve support for displaced families.

An online platform has been launched in Gaza to register and manage camps and shelters electronically, aiming to improve humanitarian response and streamline aid distribution for displaced families as part of the UAE's Operation Gallant Knight 3.
The operation is led by the UAE’s Ministry of Defence through the Joint Operations Command, following directives from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It operates in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, and the Zayed Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation.
Through the platform, individuals can submit details about their shelter locations, enabling relief agencies to maintain an up-to-date database and coordinate emergency support more efficiently. Officials stated that the system provides real-time access to shelter information, reducing delays in aid delivery and improving the overall management of assistance efforts.
The launch comes as humanitarian needs in Gaza remain critical, with thousands requiring immediate access to shelter, food, and medical services due to the effects of Israel's genocidal assault on the region.
