Monopoly Launches a New Riyadh Edition

It starts the same way every time. Someone suggests Monopoly. Someone else groans. Then someone else gets nostalgic. “Remember when you bankrupted everyone with just the oranges?” Suddenly, everyone’s in. Snacks are gathered. Rules are bent. And just like that, you’ve all signed up for at least four hours of competitive chaos dressed as family bonding.

Now, imagine all that - but Riyadh-style.

Monopoly is officially going local. The new Riyadh edition will feature the city’s most recognisable landmarks - though Hasbro is keeping the final board under wraps for now. Will Kingdom Centre replace Mayfair? Is Diriyah the new Park Lane? Could Tahlia Street become the go-to for those mid-game property deals? And more importantly - will the Electric Company still bankrupt us all?

No word yet on a launch date, but one thing’s for sure - it's time to start brushing up on your negotiation skills, and maybe hide the board-flipping cousin’s seat.
