Salt Burger Is Now Open On Egypt's North Coast

Salt has made its way to Egypt’s North Coast with a seasonal location bringing its signature sliders and milkshakes to Sahel. Located on Marassi Marina's busy dining strip, the burger brand opened to long lines earlier this month.

Salt first launched from a food truck in 2014 and quickly gained a loyal following across the Gulf, particularly in Dubai and Riyadh, with its clean branding and limited but viral menu. In the past few years, it’s also become a hotspot for sneaker drops, music nights, and capsule collections, positioning itself more like a lifestyle hub than a quick-stop, fast food stop.

Brief pop-ups have appeared in Cairo before, but this is the first time the brand has taken over a coastal location at peak season.
