King Abdulaziz Foundation Launches Guide on National Day's History

The King Abdulaziz Foundation has published a 97-page guide compiling historical content related to Saudi National Day. According to the Foundation, the resource is designed to serve researchers, media professionals and individuals interested in the Kingdom’s history.
The guide has been released ahead of Saudi Arabia’s 95th National Day in 2025. It includes verified and foundational historical material intended for use in cultural and educational content produced in connection with the occasion.
The publication details national symbols such as the Saudi flag, the national anthem adopted in 1984, and the biographies of Saudi monarchs from the founding era to the present day under King Salman bin Abdulaziz. It also highlights significant milestones, including the establishment of the Kingdom’s first newspaper ‘Umm Al-Qura’, the production of the first locally-made Kiswa for the Kaaba, and the creation of key institutions shaping modern Saudi Arabia.
In addition to historical facts, the guide explores cultural heritage, presenting seven core national values including generosity, loyalty, and solidarity. It features notable achievements in development, excerpts from royal speeches, poetry, and accounts of King Abdulaziz’s personal interests, such as attending horse races, football matches, and traditional festivities.
