Hurghada Culture Palace Theatre Reopens After Renovation

Hurghada Culture Palace Theatre will reopen in November 2025 following comprehensive renovation. The General Authority of Culture Palaces said the venue has been upgraded and now accommodates 850 seats, with technical systems prepared for a regular performance schedule aimed at integrating arts and culture with the city’s tourism offering. The reopening falls under a cooperation protocol between the Red Sea Governorate and the General Authority of Culture Palaces to present artistic, musical and theatrical performances for foreign and Egyptian visitors, alongside cultural and recreational activities for residents in Hurghada. The authority described the theatre as one of the largest in the area following the upgrade, with seating expanded to 850 and systems modernised to support a wide range of programming. The venue will host regular programme of shows will run five days a week in coordination with hotels and tourist resorts, to be included within guest itineraries. Programming will include folk arts troupes from various Egyptian governorates, alongside musical and theatre performances suitable for both local and international audiences.
