Bayoumi Fouad, Sayed Ragab & Fathy Abdel Wahab to Star in New Comedy
'Shellet Thanawy' follows three men who are stuck in a rut and decide to shake things up with one big, flashy, and completely illegal stunt.

Egyptian stars Bayoumi Fouad, Sayed Ragab, and Fathy Abdel Wahab will star in the upcoming comedy film 'Shellet Thanawy'.
Written by Abdel Fattah Kamal and directed by Hesham El Shafei, 'Shellet Thanawy' follows three men who are stuck in a rut and decide to shake things up with one big, flashy, and completely illegal stunt. But their plan gets hijacked by a seductive broker with her own agenda, testing their bond.
This marks the third time Fouad and Ragab team up on screen, following their hit comedy 'Waafet Reggala' (2021) and the more recent 'Ana W Ibn Khalty', which also starred Hanady Mehanna and hit theatres in January 2024.
For director Hesham El Shafei, 'Shellet Thanawy' is a return to the spotlight. His previous work includes 'Ehna Et2abelna Abl Keda' (2008), starring Nelly Karim and Asser Yassin, the second season of the TV drama 'Shar3 Abdel Aziz', and the comedy 'Socrates and Nabila'.
The project is produced by Safwat Ghattas and Mohamed Fawzy, with shooting set to kick off in the coming days once the rest of the cast is locked in.
