Saudi Venture Studio VMS Launches Cairo Accelerator
Selected founders will gain access to 150+ mentors and industry experts, as well as a series of structured sessions focused on growth strategy.
Saudi-based venture studio Value Makers Studio (VMS) has launched a new accelerator in Cairo aimed at helping Egyptian startups scale and expand into the Saudi market. The three-month programme, called VMS Accelerate, will invest up to EGP 1.5 million in each selected startup, alongside mentorship and regional market access.
“Egypt is home to one of the region’s most dynamic startup ecosystems. At VMS, we see enormous potential in Egyptian founders who are building scalable businesses,” said Motaz Abuonq, CEO of Value Makers Studio (VMS).
The accelerator is targeting Seed and Seed+ stage startups that have already achieved early traction and are looking to grow beyond Egypt. Selected founders will gain access to 150+ mentors and industry experts, as well as a series of structured sessions focused on growth strategy, investor readiness, partnerships, and scaling operations.
In its first Cairo cohort, VMS plans to back seven startups, with the programme beginning in May 2026. Applications opened on March 1 and will close on March 31.
Beyond capital, the programme is designed to prepare founders for regional expansion through initiatives like weekly investor pitch simulations and direct feedback from potential enterprise clients, helping startups refine their strategy before entering the Saudi market.
