Orange Cash & Botim Launch UAE-Egypt Wallet Transfers
Botim users in the UAE can now send money directly to Orange Cash wallets in Egypt around the clock.
Orange Egypt has partnered with UAE fintech platform Botim to enable international money transfers from the UAE directly into Orange Cash wallets in Egypt.
Under the partnership, senders can initiate transfers through Botim, with recipients receiving the money directly in their Orange Cash wallets. Funds can then be used for transfers, payments and purchases or withdrawn in cash.
Orange Egypt says Orange Cash users can access funds through more than 300,000 cash-out points nationwide, including Orange stores, ATMs and authorised retailers.
The agreement marks Botim’s first partnership with a mobile operator in Egypt. Egypt is already among the platform’s five largest international remittance corridors, with more than two million Egyptian users on Botim, while Orange Cash has around 10 million users.
The partnership forms part of Botim’s wider effort to connect digital wallet networks across borders, allowing UAE-based users to send remittances directly into recipients’ preferred wallets. Orange Egypt currently serves more than 30 million customers nationwide.
