New Acceleration Program Supports Women-Led Startups in the UAE
This program intends to promote gender equality and women’s economic participation in the UAE.
A collaboration between the Emirati Ministry of Economy and the European Women Association (EWA) hopes to usher in a new wave of women-led startups.
This initiative, called the ‘Investment Readiness Acceleration’ program, equips women with the skills they need to navigate new sectors, secure funding, and communicate their visions to investors. The targets of this program include providing women with the tools and opportunities they need to contribute to sustainable development, both in the UAE and beyond.
As part of the Entrepreneurial Nation Project, which was initiated in 2021, this program furthers the UAE’s goal of promoting women’s participation in the economy.
