Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival Issues Open Call for Artists

Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival is inviting artists, storytellers and creatives to submit work for its 2027 edition, centred on the theme ‘Lost in Translation’.
Founded in 2013 as a small gathering of around 30 emerging local artists, the festival has since grown into one of the UAE’s leading cultural events. This year’s theme, inspired by Lost in Translation, takes the idea of “translation” as both concept and metaphor, exploring what it means to exist between languages, cultures, places and identities. Organisers note that they are looking for works that reflect “what it means to navigate the in-between.”
Submissions are open across visual art, photography, short film, sculpture and installation, with a deadline set for June 5th. Further details are available via the festival’s official website.
