Your Art Could Light Up the Burj Khalifa
The winning design will illuminate the world's tallest building and receive a cash prize of AED 100,000.
Artists, designers and creatives from around the world are being invited to transform the façade of the Burj Khalifa as Emaar opens submissions for the latest edition of its Projection Design Competition.
The open call is seeking original audio-visual projection designs inspired by Dubai's spirit of innovation, creativity and culture. Entries will be evaluated based on originality, artistic quality, visual impact, and how effectively they interact with the scale and architecture of the Burj Khalifa.
The winning artist will receive AED 100,000, with their work projected across the landmark's façade before a live audience in Downtown Dubai. The competition is open to both UAE-based and international participants.
Applicants are required to submit a concept proposal, storyboard or visual treatment, along with a portfolio of previous work. Selected finalists may be invited to further develop their concepts before the winning projection is unveiled. Submissions close on August 18th.
