Open Call: One-Year-Long Creative Documentary Workshop for Women

Between Women Filmmakers Caravan (BWFC) has issued an Open Call to women filmmakers in Egypt to join their year-long Creative Documentary Workshop, which begins on December 28th, 2025. The fully-funded workshop is a year-long training program on the artistic techniques of directing, writing, editing, cinematography and production within the framework of the Between Women Filmmakers Caravan. In alignment with the mission of BWFC, this workshop aims to improve the skills and capabilities of aspiring women filmmakers in Egypt. Participants will be tutored by several Arab and international film professionals with the end goal of completing a short creative documentary film by the end of the programme. The deadline to apply is November 27th. Applicants must be residing in Egypt, and must be women aged 23 or older. For more information or to apply, visit the webpage here.
