We’re back with another edition of ‘Shuffle’, our bi-weekly playlist spotlighting new releases from across MENA over the past fortnight. This time, we’re bringing you fresh cuts from Lana Lubany, Fatima Al Qadiri, Farsa and Zaid Khaled.

Palestinian-American pop artist Lana Lubany returns with ‘7 AYAM’, her first fully independent release in almost two years, reflecting on ambition, uncertainty and the feeling of being lost. Lebanese DJ and producer Farsa makes his debut on Roza Terenzi’s Step Ball Chain with ‘Promiscuous Dubz’, a five-track EP moving between timeless club sounds, flirtatious tech-house grooves and dub-inflected textures.

Egyptian rap star Wegz comes through with the breezy, high-energy ‘El Shai Ya Baba’, while Kuwaiti producer Fatima Al Qadiri unveils ‘7ilween’, the first single from her upcoming album. The dark, deconstructed club cut draws on the atmosphere of regional nightlife.

The playlist also features Zaid Khaled and Nasser’s ‘Hasess Bik’, Dana Hourani’s ‘Badkon Shi’ and Mona Al Attar’s ‘Bara El Madina’.
