New Medical Glove Factory Opens in Ain Sokhna

A medical glove manufacturing facility valued at USD 4 million has been inaugurated in Ain Sokhna, adding new capacity to Egypt’s healthcare production and export network. Developed by Sinai Medical Supplies, the factory will produce medical-grade gloves for both domestic use and international markets. The facility forms part of ongoing efforts to localise essential medical industries and enhance the country’s industrial self-sufficiency. The new plant is expected to create jobs, support small and medium-sized suppliers, and contribute to export revenues. The project also aligns with Egypt’s broader economic diversification plans centred around the Suez Canal Economic Zone, where Ain Sokhna continues to attract major industrial investments.
