River Marina for Large Yachts & Cruises Will Be Established in Aswan

The governorate of Aswan is establishing a river marina in the Silsilah antiquities area. After four years of planning and development proposals, the project is underway to provide large yachts, dahabiyas and cruise ships with safe and convenient docking facilities to accommodate the growing number of tourists visiting the area.

The area was examined extensively by the Nile Research Institute, which helped study the work done on the development of riprap shoreline structures across 170 metres.
