Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier Flynas has announced plans to establish a new airline in Syria, operating under the name Flynas Syria, with flights scheduled to begin in late 2026. A joint venture between the Syrian General Authority of Civil Aviation and Flynas, the new airline aims to strengthen Syria’s regional and international air links by serving destinations across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. Details regarding fleet allocation and specific routes have yet to be announced. Flynas currently operates flights to Damascus from Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, and the new subsidiary is expected to expand connectivity even further.
