Vivienne Westwood will open Riyadh Fashion Week 2025, marking the British label’s first-ever show in the Middle East. Taking place on October 16 in a palm grove, the runway setting serves as a tribute to the palm tree — a national symbol of life, resilience, and prosperity.
The presentation will debut a limited capsule of embroidered gowns created in collaboration with Art of Heritage, blending the craftsmanship of Saudi artisans with the couture expertise of Vivienne Westwood’s atelier. Alongside these exclusive pieces, the brand will showcase looks from its upcoming Spring–Summer 2026 collection and select archival designs, weaving together legacy and innovation.
Running from October 16 to 21, Riyadh Fashion Week 2025 will feature over 30 runway shows spanning couture, ready-to-wear, and streetwear for both men and women. Westwood’s opening show signals a defining moment for the event, which, for the first time, welcomes international fashion houses onto its official calendar. Established by the Fashion Commission under Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture, Riyadh Fashion Week continues to strengthen the local fashion ecosystem and position the Kingdom as a global hub for design and cultural exchange.
