Baba Bazaar Brings Borderless Vision of Sound and Style to Amsterdam
Baba Boys bring their diaspora-inspired curational ethos to a new market experience this May.

This May 17-18, Amsterdam West will play host to Baba Bazaar, a two-day cultural convergence curated by the globe-spanning creative collective, Baba Boys. Blending fashion, food, and music in an intimate indoor-outdoor space, the bazaar will showcase the emerging brands from Paris, Barcelona, Palestine, Egypt, and beyond in a market experience that leans less on the commodity and more on community.
Visitors can expect exclusive brand drops, including the soft launch of Benzene, a bold new label by Palestinian designer, Ahmad “Mouri” Zaghmouri. Jewellery label Tigresita brings a sculptural femininity in handworked metal, while ISISDÜNYA reimagines the archive through upcycled couture. Food becomes its own form of storytelling, with street eats by Sanaa’s Kitchen, Palestinian coffee poured strong and slow, and natural wines setting the tone.
Capping off the weekend is a late-night afterparty at Club San Francisco, with DJ sets from Mouri, SIGA, and Nihal El Aasar (NTS Radio, Nile to Bank). The soundtrack moves from techno to tarab, bringing the rhythms of Arab resistance to this Amsterdam venue.
