The Clubs Driving the MENA Region’s Padel Obsession
Rooftop courts in Bahrain, large-scale complexes in Morocco and elite academies across Saudi Arabia and Egypt are driving MENA’s padel boom through coaching, tournaments and fast-growing communities.
Once a niche racket sport, padel has become one of the most popular pastimes in the MENA region. Purpose-built clubs are opening at a rapid pace as demand for indoor courts, coaching academies and competitive tournaments continues to grow.
Dedicated padel venues are opening everywhere from Bahrain rooftops to sprawling Moroccan sports complexes, reflecting both the sport’s competitive growth and its status as one of the region’s biggest social fitness trends.
Padel Cloud — Saudi Arabia
Located in Riyadh and home to the region’s first Adidas 360 competition court, Padel Cloud is a premium venue built around a quiet, private playing experience. The club features two courts and caters largely to experienced and competitive players looking for a more exclusive environment compared to larger social padel clubs in the city.
Sky Padel — Bahrain
Among Bahrain’s most recognisable padel venues, Sky Padel is located on a rooftop in Manama’s Diplomatic Area. The club features outdoor panoramic courts overlooking the city skyline and became known early on for bringing rooftop padel to Bahrain as the sport began gaining momentum across the Gulf. Alongside regular court bookings, the venue also hosts coaching sessions, social matches and local tournaments.
Padel Kingdom — UAE
Padel Kingdom operates across multiple Gulf countries including the UAE and Bahrain, positioning itself as a regional padel operator rather than a single-site club. Its venues focus on indoor courts, coaching programs and community play, serving both recreational players and more competitive athletes.
Padel Arena — Oman
One of Muscat’s most prominent padel venues, Padel Arena offers international-standard courts alongside structured coaching sessions for players at different skill levels. Padel Area sits at the forefront of Oman’s growing padel scene, where the sport has expanded rapidly in recent years through new clubs, tournaments and social leagues.
SR Padel Mostakbal City — Egypt
SR Padel is one of Egypt’s most active competitive padel destinations. Featuring five panoramic courts, the venue has hosted the FIP Silver Egypt International tournament and several rounds of the Egypt Padel Tour, drawing players from over 10 countries. In addition, SR Padel also operates additional courts in Sheikh Zayed and Alexandria.
Padel Hub — Egypt
Padel Hub is among Cairo’s most established padel academies, operating multiple branches across the city. The organisation focuses heavily on coaching and player development through structured programs for different ages and skill levels, while also participating in Egypt’s growing local tournament circuit.
Arena Ville Verte — Morocco
Arena Ville Verte is Africa’s largest padel complex, featuring more than 20 courts including a central competition court designed for major events. The complex has become an important part of Morocco’s expanding competitive padel scene through tournaments, coaching programs and youth training initiatives.
The Padelist — Lebanon
Based in Beirut, The Padelist is one of Lebanon’s best-known padel training destinations, with a strong focus on coaching and player development. The club offers structured programs for different skill levels, alongside private lessons, group sessions and competitive training. As padel continues to grow in Lebanon, The Padelist has also become a regular host for local matches, community events and amateur tournaments.
