Soichi Terada to Headline Geeza Records' Season Closing April 3rd
Taking place at ZED Park, Cairo, the party also features a taste-making lineup of locals, such as Aly B, Nour Fahmy, and Mamadoo, Omar Sabh, alongside Youla and a special live set from Taher.
Egyptian-bred label and party series, Geeza Records, is set to host a special season closer in Cairo, headlining Japanese electronic maverick, Soichi Terada, at ZED Park, Sheikh Zayed on April 3rd.
Instantly recognisable behind the decks in his signature Hawaiian shirts and ever-present grin, Soichi Terada has been a longtime bastion of house in Tokyo since the ‘80s, popular for his dynamic performances. Often playful, sometimes moody yet soulful, his sets weave together subtle influences from the 80s and 90s New York house scene, with flashes of jungle and downtempo. His expansive discography includes several well-known video game soundtracks, most notably the Ape Escape series, and numerous releases on his own imprint, Far East Recording.
Running from 2 PM into the late hours of the night, the lineup also features local favourites Aly B, Nour Fahmy, and Mamadoo, as well as Omar Sabh, alongside Youla and a special live set from Taher.
The event comes shortly after Geeza’s blockbuster anniversary celebration, which took place at ZED Park on January 16th, featuring Panorama Bar resident Victor.
