This week on ‘Shuffle’, SceneNoise’s flagship playlist spotlighting standout releases from across the MENA region and its diaspora, we round up the tracks that have been making noise over the past fortnight. The latest instalment brings together regional heavyweights Elyanna and Tul8te, Egyptian indie rock stalwarts Cairokee, Lebanese singer Ilaria, and a new crop of producers and artists moving between pop, electronic, R&B and beyond.

Egyptian pop breakout Tul8te joins forces with Palestinian-Chilean star Elyanna on ‘Haneish’, lifted from his new album, Sadeeq Albernameg. Elsewhere, Jordanian electronic duo Fairoplay team up with producer ROO on ‘Al Jaw’, an Arabic melodic house cut released via Pete Tong’s imprint, Places & Spaces.

Cairokee return with Supernova, their latest album and a tender reflection on a generation caught between nostalgia and growing pains. Meanwhile, Lebanese-Egyptian singer Sarah Ali taps into Y2K-era dance-pop and R&B on ‘We Can’(t) Get It On’. The playlist also features Molotof and 3enab’s ‘El Dunya Fena Bet3aned’, Xena Elshazli’s ‘Mane3 Elkalam’, and TAG’s ‘Ashoufek Tany’.
