Rap of the Week | Sep 29 - Oct 5

We’re back with a new edition of ‘Rap of the Week’, SceneNoise’s flagship playlist spotlighting standout new releases from across MENA’s rap and hip-hop scene. This week’s selection brings together regional heavyweights, local favourites and rising voices, including Didine Canon 16, Double Zuksh, Ramoon and Smallx.

Algerian rap heavyweight Didine Canon 16 returns with ‘Ghazali’, featuring Numidia Lezoul, while Ismailia-born rapper MOUSV comes through with ‘Kol Youm’. Built around vibrant, synth-heavy production, the track turns the rapper’s day-to-day into a boastful contemporary portrait. Ramoon and Smallx join forces on ‘Dima’, pairing Ramoon’s rhythmic production with Smallx's sharp delivery for a hard-hitting collaboration.

The playlist also features Zuksh’s ‘System’, Raste and L’morphone’s ‘Rattrapage’, and Uyuh’s ‘Mudhisha’, rounding out another snapshot of the region’s ever-shifting rap landscape.
