Talal Maddah Theatre in Al Muftaha village in Abha has resumed activity following restoration and rehabilitation works completed by the Aseer Region Development Authority.
The venue is once again hosting artistic and cultural performances as part of Aseer Summer Season 2026, returning one of Abha’s long-standing cultural landmarks to the region’s events calendar.
The theatre has historically hosted musical concerts, cultural programmes and artistic events, making it one of the city’s better-known venues for live performance.
Its restoration forms part of the Aseer Region Development Strategy, which includes preserving cultural assets with historical value and returning them to active use.
