Saudi Arabia Set to Rank 3rd Fastest-Growing G20 Economy in 2027
Growth is projected to rise from 3.1% in 2026 to 4.5% in 2027.
Saudi Arabia is projected to rank as the third fastest-growing economy among G20 countries in 2027, with real GDP growth of 4.5%, according to the International Monetary Fund.
The forecast places the Kingdom behind Indonesia and India, and ahead of China in the G20 growth rankings for that year. The IMF’s latest World Economic Outlook also projects growth of 3.1% for Saudi Arabia in 2026, indicating an acceleration to 4.5% in 2027.
The outlook positions the Kingdom among the faster-growing economies within the G20 over the two-year period. According to the Ministry of Investment, Saudi Arabia continues to record steady economic growth despite regional geopolitical conditions.
