Safaa Abu El Saud Returns to Maspero With New Radio Programme

Safaa Abu El Saud, an Egyptian actress, singer and television presenter, is returning to Maspero with a new radio programme titled ‘Al Mulhamoun’.

The programme, announced by the National Media Authority, will air on the main national radio station and be broadcast across regional stations nationwide.

According to Mohamed Lotfy, Head of Radio, the series consists of 12 episodes, each running for 30 minutes, and will be broadcast weekly every Sunday.

‘Al Mulhamoun’ focuses on profiling figures who have influenced Egypt’s history across different fields, with an emphasis on individuals who have not been widely featured in drama or documentary formats.

The programme will cover figures including Naguib Mahfouz Mikhail, publishers Salim Takla and Beshara Takla, Siza Nabarawi, Abla Nazira and Anis Abid, among others.

The series is written by Ahmed El Qusbi and directed by Tamer Shehata, featuring Abu El Saud alongside performers from Egyptian Radio.
