Paid Parking Starts in Five Musaffah Sectors in Abu Dhabi
More than 10,000 spaces have been added under Abu Dhabi’s parking plan.
Paid parking has been introduced across five sectors in Musaffah as part of a wider plan to improve traffic flow and parking management in Abu Dhabi. The rollout is operated by Q Mobility under the supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre within the Department of Municipalities and Transport. The newly activated zones include sectors M7, M8, M9, M14 and M15, adding a total of 10,010 parking spaces in Musaffah, a major industrial and commercial area with high daily traffic. Dedicated parking spaces have also been allocated for People of Determination. Parking fees are set at AED 2 per hour for standard spaces. Payments can be made through the Darb and TAMM platforms, as well as SMS services and on-site machines. Officials said the expansion is intended to regulate parking use, reduce congestion and improve vehicle movement in busy areas, while supporting road safety and accessibility for businesses and visitors. The rollout forms part of a broader plan to expand paid parking across key locations in Abu Dhabi to manage demand and improve overall traffic efficiency.
