New Agreement Expands Digital Payment Services for Egyptians Abroad

Egyptians living abroad will soon be able to pay utility bills, financial obligations and other service fees electronically through the Sahl mobile application under a new cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Delta Misr for Payments.

The protocol was signed in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Ahmed Rostom. Delta Misr for Payments "Sahl" counts the National Investment Bank among its shareholders.

According to the agreement, Egyptians overseas will be able to settle payments securely through the Sahl app and the company's digital platform, allowing transactions to be completed electronically from anywhere in the world with an emphasis on speed and security.

The partnership forms part of wider efforts to integrate the work of government entities and national financial technology companies to improve digital services for Egyptians abroad. It is intended to simplify everyday transactions by providing a single platform for paying utility bills and a range of other service fees.
