Ministry of Hajj & Umrah Opens Umrah Visas for New Season

Saudi Arabia has started issuing Umrah visas and allowing the entry of pilgrims for the new Umrah season from Dhul Hijjah 14, corresponding to May 31st, 2026. Pilgrims can enter Makkah and obtain Umrah permits through the Nusuk application beginning Monday, June 1st, 2026, as set out in the Umrah season calendar for Hijri year 1448 released by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

According to the ministry’s calendar, the last day for issuing Umrah visas is 1st Shawwal, 1448, corresponding to March 9th, 2027. The final date for pilgrims to enter Saudi Arabia is 15th Shawwal, 1448, corresponding to March 23rd, 2027. The ministry added that Shawwal 30, 1448, corresponding to April 7th, 2027, will be the final departure date for Umrah pilgrims.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah called on Umrah service-providing companies and overseas agents to adhere to the approved schedule and comply with all regulations and instructions for the season to ensure high-quality services for pilgrims.
