Key Ration Card Services Now Available on Digital Egypt
Users can update card data, replace lost or damaged cards, activate new cards, transfer files and add family members online.
Several ration card services are now available online through the Digital Egypt platform, allowing eligible users to complete procedures without visiting supply offices. The services include updating ration card data, issuing replacements for lost or damaged cards, activating new cards, transferring a cardholder’s file between governorates and adding family members.
The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade said accurate data updates are required for eligible households to continue receiving ration support, and only the head of household may submit requests through the platform. Users can log in to Digital Egypt, open the supply services section, choose the required service, agree to the terms and conditions and enter the requested personal information to complete the process online.
The data update service is currently being introduced in Port Said for an initial three-month period before expanding to other governorates, as part of wider efforts by the Ministry of Supply and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to move more public services online and reduce in-person procedures.
