Kalba's Park Expansion Nears Completion
Al Saf 7 Park has been completed, while several other park projects are 90% finished.
Al Saf 7 Park in Kalba has been completed and handed over to the beneficiary authority, while several other park projects across the city have reached 90% completion, according to the Sharjah Department of Public Works.
Spanning 65,700 square metres, Al Saf 7 Park is among a series of recreational developments being delivered in coordination with the Kalba Municipal Council. The department also confirmed that development works at Al Sidra Park have been completed, with construction continuing on the remaining projects.
According to the department, the park programme forms part of a long-term plan to enhance public amenities, improve quality of life and provide modern recreational spaces for Kalba's growing community.
Engineer Khadija Al Dhuhouri, from the department's Kalba branch, said the projects are being developed to complement the city's natural environment and urban landscape while creating accessible public spaces for families and children. She added that the parks are progressing in line with Kalba's continued urban growth and the department's broader vision for community-focused development.
