Hajj Service Providers Ranked in New Performance Assessment
Companies were assessed on compliance, service quality and pilgrim satisfaction under an updated evaluation framework.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has published the 2026 performance evaluation results for companies serving international pilgrims, classifying providers based on their performance during the latest Hajj season.
The evaluation covers three categories of service providers: companies contracted by pilgrim affairs offices, those working with affiliated organisers, and those operating under the direct Hajj model. Providers in each category were placed into one of three tiers: Tier One (Outstanding Performance), Tier Two (Very Good Performance), and Tier Three (Good Performance).
According to the ministry, the assessment framework is updated annually following each Hajj season. Compliance and adherence account for 60% of the overall score, while quality of service performance contributes the remaining 40%. Evaluations draw on field inspections, documented evidence, operational data and pilgrim satisfaction assessments, with a process for reviewing and resolving objections before the results are finalised.
The ministry said publishing the rankings is intended to strengthen transparency, encourage compliance with operational requirements and promote continuous improvement and healthy competition among Hajj service providers. The full evaluation results are available through the ministry's official website.
