'Image of Egypt' Turns Eight Centuries Into One Exhibition
From the Battle of Mansoura to the June 30 Revolution, over 140 artworks and archival treasures trace Egypt's story at Aisha Fahmy Palace.
'Image of Egypt: A Journey Through the Memory of the Homeland' has opened at Zamalek's Aisha Fahmy Palace, unfolding like a history book—only instead of turning pages, visitors walk through hallways and rooms lined with paintings, sculptures, newspapers and film, chronicling Egypt's story from the 13th century to the June 30 Revolution.
The exhibition brings together more than 140 artworks and archival materials to trace moments of resistance, revolution, nation-building and cultural identity. The gallery includes paintings by Gazbia Sirry, Abdel-Hadi El-Gazzar, Mohamed Nagi and Hamed Owais, alongside historic newspapers, rare documents and documentary footage.
The exhibition is open from 9 AM to 6 PM until October 6th, except Fridays and Sundays.
