Egypt Win Bronze in Team Relay at Pentathlon World Championships

Egypt opened its campaign at the World Senior Modern Pentathlon Championships, taking place in Guiyang, China, from August 23rd to 31st, with a bronze medal in the women’s relay.

Jana Attia and Zeina Amer secured third place with 1,302 points. Belarusian duo Anastasia Arol and Maria Gnedchik claimed gold with 1,351 points, while Russia’s Victoria Sazonova and Yana Solovieva took silver with 1,325 points.

Egypt is competing at the championships with a 10-athlete team, consisting of six men and four women, with world recorder holder and Olympic gold medalist Ahmed Elgendy, alongside Moataz Wael, Mohamed Hossam, Mohamed Hatem, Mohannad Shaaban, Seif Wael, Farida Abu Hashem, Jana Elgendy, Jana Attia and Zeina Amer.
