Dubai Police Train Security Guards at 35 Schools in Dubai

More than 140 security guards across 35 schools in Dubai have received training on traffic management, accident response and student safety through a programme organised by Dubai Police.

The courses focused on improving traffic flow around school premises and preparing security personnel to respond more effectively to incidents during busy drop-off and pick-up periods.

Training covered the management of minor traffic accidents, the types of incidents commonly encountered around schools and procedures for reporting accidents through the Dubai Police smart app and the ‘We Are All Police’ service.

Participants were also familiarised with traffic signs and guidelines and trained on regulating vehicle movement during peak periods near school entrances.

Hands-on exercises simulated real-life traffic accidents, while additional guidance covered safe boarding and disembarking for students using school buses.

The programme also outlined initial response steps for traffic and security incidents before the relevant authorities arrive.
