What Women Want Announces Dates for Second Activism Community Festival
This year, the festival will host a variety of activities - panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, theatre performances, and documentary screenings - all shedding light on violence against women.
In commemoration of the global 16 Days of Activism Community Festival, What Women Want is, for the second year in a row, hosting a series of art and community events in Downtown Cairo, from December 19th to 23rd. The events range between panel discussions, hands-on workshops, art exhibitions, theatre performances, and documentary screenings - all revolving around violence against women.
This year, What Women Want - an Egyptian publication catering exclusively to an audience of women - teases a four-day agenda, including a talk by Safe Egypt founder and sexual abuse protection advocate Sara Aziz. More details about the agenda are yet to be announced on What Women Want’s social media.
