Zawya Announces Third ‘What Now, My Love?’ Youssef Chahine Programme

Zawya Cinema has announced the screening schedule for the third instalment of ‘What Now, My Love?’, its programme revisiting the work of late Egyptian director Youssef Chahine 100 years after his birth.

Running from September 10th to October 17th, the programme will feature eight films spanning 18 years of Chahine’s career: ‘The Choice’, ‘The Sparrow’, ‘Return of the Prodigal Son’, ‘Alexandria... Why?’, ‘An Egyptian Story’, ‘Adieu Bonaparte’, ‘The Sixth Day’ and ‘Alexandria, Again and Forever’.

The films will be shown across 24 screenings in total. English captions will be available for all titles except ‘The Choice’.

The programme is curated by Yasmine Zohdi and Ahmed Refaat, with tickets available through Zawya Cinema’s website.
