There are two types of people in Cairo: those who wake up early enough for breakfast plans, and those who say they will. Either way, Pattini just made mornings more convincing, officially entering the breakfast chat with a new menu—and it’s not your standard eggs-and-toast situation.

Pattini is one of those spots that leans into the whole “family-owned” thing without making it feel like a tagline. Tucked inside District 5, it’s built around warmth, familiarity and a very real love for Italian food, and their new breakfast menu just builds on that, but with a softer, morning-appropriate twist.

Pesto Edamame Omelette

A slightly greener situation—pesto and edamame blended into a spread, topped with a feta-filled omelette and avocado. It sounds healthy, but still very much delivers on flavor.

Truffle Cacio e Pepe Omelette

Because apparently, cacio e pepe wasn’t enough on its own. Their signature bread comes loaded with that peppery, cheesy sauce, topped with an omelette stuffed with truffle paste and sautéed mushrooms, then finished with sun-dried tomatoes. Subtle? Not even a little.

Italian Salmon Benedict

Smoked salmon and poached eggs on Pattini’s freshly baked Italian bread, layered with Philadelphia cream cheese and finished with hollandaise. It’s rich, it’s classic, and it’s the kind of breakfast that immediately cancels your “I’ll just have something light” plans.

Quattro Formaggi Feteer

We never really thought feteer needed an Italian twist, but Pattini clearly had a vision we couldn't see until now. Flaky, golden pastry packed with fiori di latte, cheddar, roumi, and aged parmesan, with green olives bringing it all together. It’s chaotic, it’s cheesy, and it somehow makes perfect sense.

Lemon Ricotta Brioche

Soft, buttery brioche topped with creamy ricotta and a bright hit of lemon. It’s light, citrusy, and feels like the kind of breakfast you order when you’re pretending to be put together.
