Around the Table's Next Stop is Downtown Cairo's Almería
The travelling supper club is heading to 24 Talaat Harb Street on June 16th for an evening of food and storytelling.
If your ideal dinner involves good food and interesting conversations with strangers, Almería has something planned for you.
On June 16th, travelling supper club Around the Table is bringing, or perhaps shipping, its latest gathering, Carried by the Sea, to Downtown Cairo's Almería. The evening will explore the memories, traditions and journeys carried across the Mediterranean, using food as the thread that ties them together.
Around the Table is a community-led dining concept dedicated to creating space for meaningful conversation over a shared meal. Each gathering revolves around a different theme, with discussions that naturally wander between culture, identity, migration, nostalgia and the stories we inherit through what we eat.
Known for its tapas, cocktails, coffee and cakes, Almería, the Mediterranean café and trattoria tucked inside Downtown Cairo. Its coastal influences make it a particularly fitting setting for an evening inspired by the Mediterranean.
Carried by the Sea begins at 7 PM at 24 Talaat Harb Street.
