USD 10 Million Ebnyland Theme Park to Open in New Sohag City
The project is being developed in partnership with international firms from the UK, China, and Italy.

Upper Egypt is getting its first international-standard theme park. Egyptian real estate developer Ebny Developments has unveiled plans for Ebnyland, a 63,000-square-metre amusement complex in New Sohag City, backed by more than USD 10 million in global investment. The project is being designed to serve a wide regional population of over 38 million people, bringing a major entertainment destination to a part of the country historically underserved by such developments.
Ebnyland is set to feature over 100 rides and attractions, including rollercoasters, family-friendly zones, dining venues, and retail spaces. The project is being developed in partnership with international firms from the UK, China, and Italy, with technical contributions from well-known entertainment brands such as Frego, Midpower, E Park, Lark, Zamprela, and Childwood.
Construction is scheduled to wrap within six months, with Ebny Developments aiming for a launch timed with regional tourism pushes and national holidays. The company—founded in 2012—has already delivered 22 real estate projects, including Greeny Avenue, its first residential development in New Sohag, completed in 2024. Two more Cairo-based developments are expected to follow in 2025.
