USD 1.36 Million Content Fund Announced for Family-Focused Creators
Support will include training, advanced equipment, production facilities, platform support and brand deals, with the aim of attracting creators to relocate to the UAE.
Creators HQ and Alfan have announced the launch of a USD 1.36 million (AED 5 million) content fund aimed at social media creators producing family- and socially focused content, as part of the ongoing 1 Billion Followers Summit in the UAE.
The initiative is designed to encourage creators to relocate to the UAE while attracting international talent working on content centred on family life, social cohesion, and community themes. The fund combines direct financial support with structured education and training programmes.
Selected creators will also gain access to advanced filming equipment, professional production facilities, platform-level support from social media companies, and opportunities to secure brand partnerships. Organisers positioned the programme as an end-to-end support model intended to help creators scale sustainably rather than operate on a project-by-project basis.
The launch aligns with the UAE Government’s designation of 2026 as the Year of Family, which focuses on strengthening family bonds and reinforcing social stability.
