Eid in El Gouna Lets You Skydive, Swim, Enjoy Family-Fun in The Farm

Eid tends to prompt a quiet migration. Families look for somewhere open, somewhere social, somewhere that allows the holiday to unfold over several days rather than a single gathering. Along the Red Sea coast, El Gouna has long evolved around that instinct, shaped as much by community life, warm weather, and sea breezes as by landscape. Lagoons connect neighborhoods, marinas double as meeting points, and many of the town’s experiences are built to bring visitors and residents into shared spaces. This year’s Eid programme unfolds across the landscape itself. From March 21st to March 24th, 2026, skydivers will rise above El Gouna’s coastline before stepping out into open air, descending slowly over the Red Sea where coral reefs shimmer beneath clear water and desert mountains frame the horizon. Along the waterfront, spectators gather to watch the parachutes drift toward the marina. For families, The Farm, open throughout Eid, becomes a central meeting point. Set among greenery and open courtyards, it hosts creative workshops, small rides and live music that keep children occupied while parents settle in for an unhurried afternoon. Elsewhere, Adrenalin Park, Velocity Park and Noon Farm, all operating throughout the holiday, bring a mix of obstacle courses, outdoor activities and encounters with animals that invite visitors of different ages to explore the town in their own way. The Red Sea remains a constant presence. Under El Gouna’s clear skies and warm coastal weather, water becomes the natural setting for much of the holiday. Kitesurfing, sailing trips, snorkelling excursions and boat rides run throughout Eid, sending visitors out across calm turquoise water that defines daily life along the coast. Across the long weekend, Eid here becomes a sequence of shared moments: mornings on the water, afternoons among farms and parks, and evenings shaped by the easy rhythm of the Red Sea.
