Saudi Industrial Production Index Up 10.4% in November 2025
Coke and refined petroleum manufacturing climbed 14.5% and chemicals rose 10.9%, while electricity and gas supplies fell 4.3%; water and waste activities rose 10.2%.
Saudi Arabia’s Industrial Production Index rose 10.4% year-on-year in November 2025 to 114.39 points, up from 103.64 points in November 2024, according to the General Authority for Statistics. The index tracks changes in output across key sectors including mining and quarrying, manufacturing, and utilities.
Mining and quarrying increased by 12.6% year-on-year, supported by higher oil production, which rose to 10.1 million barrels per day in November 2025 from 8.9 million barrels per day a year earlier.
Manufacturing rose 8.1% year-on-year. Within manufacturing, coke and refined petroleum products increased by 14.5%, while chemicals rose by 10.9%. Water supply, sanitation, waste management and treatment activities increased by 10.2%, whereas electricity, gas, steam supply and air-conditioning activities declined by 4.3% in November 2025.
The Industrial Production Index measures relative changes in production quantities from raw materials to final goods. The November 2025 reading reflects movements across mining and quarrying, manufacturing, utilities, and water and waste-related activities as reported by the General Authority for Statistics.
